The player from the Philippines faced confiscation of his 70,000 PHP winnings and account blocking at Ice Casino due to an accidental VPN login that occurred after his winning session. Despite being a fully verified player, the casino offered a minimal bonus instead of addressing the unfair penalty for the VPN incident. We engaged with both the player and the casino, highlighting that using a VPN should not automatically lead to confiscation of funds if no unfair advantage was gained, especially when the VPN use was brief and unintentional. After reviewing detailed gameplay and VPN logs confirming no gameplay or bonus use during the VPN session, the casino acknowledged the player's right to continue using the service. The player's account was unblocked, and his winnings were restored.
Subject: Unfair Confiscation of 70,000PHP Winnings and Blocking of my account
Full Details:
I am a fully verified player at Ice Casino (verified since 2023). I am filing this complaint because the casino confiscated my legitimate winnings of 70,000 PHP due to a single, accidental VPN login that occurred several hours after my winning session ended.
1. Timeline of Events (Based on Evidence):
April 21, 2026, 14:15 (2:15 PM): I logged in using my legitimate local ISP in the Philippines (Globe Telecom). This was a clean, non-VPN session.
Winnings Period: During this Philippine session, I played and won a total balance of over 70,000 PHP. My game transactions (see attached PDF) confirm that by 21:14 (9:14 PM), my balance was already 70,484.40 PHP. These winnings were earned entirely on my local connection.
The Accidental Login: On the same day, April 21, 2026, at 22:41 (10:41 PM), I accidentally logged in while my VPN was active and set to Japan (IP: 157.7.202.xx).
This was a brief login that occurred nearly 1.5 hours AFTER my balance reached 70k. No significant gameplay or "advantage-seeking" occurred during this 10-minute Japan session.
2. Proof of Admission/Bad Faith:
The casino's customer support acknowledged my situation but only offered a 2,000 PHP bonus (with x5 wagering) to unblock the account. This offer is unacceptable because:
Confiscating 70,000 PHP for a minor, post-winning technical oversight is a disproportionate penalty.
The offer to unblock my account proves that the casino recognizes me as the legitimate owner and not a fraudster. They are simply using the VPN rule to avoid paying out a large sum.
3. Request:
As a verified user for over a year, I am asking for the full restoration of my 70,000 PHP balance. The VPN login was an accident and did not influence the generation of my winnings in any way.
Hoping for your kindest and prompt assistance and experties on this matter.

Did you request the withdrawal of your winnings before using the Japanese VPN?
What games did you play while your location was changed via VPN?
Did you activate any bonuses while the VPN was enabled?
I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.
Thank you for your response and for accepting my case.
I have provided the answers to your questions. Please refer below.
• Did you request the withdrawal of your winnings before using the Japanese VPN? -
I have several withdrawal attempts both before and after the VPN incident making sure that my deposit is ok, confirming to them thru chat if I can use my Skrill account because its posted in their site but its not in my option of withdrawal, also asking them if visa withdrawal is much faster than bank transfer etc. due to a bad withdrawal experience previously from Ice Casino. Also my withdrawal method is a bank transfer to my Philippine bank account. I am attaching screenshot of my log in before the 70,000php final withdrawal and other withdrawals (screenshot also attached) for your reference and perusal.
I am attempting to attach here as well the gameplay history record of all my gameplay that I have downloaded from the Ice Casino App before I have been blocked to further support my claim but its in PDF format. Please educate me how to attach a pdf file here or to where can i send it. This document shows the exact timestamps of when I achieved my winning on which you will see that my top wins occurred during my regular sessions in the Philippines, long before the accidental VPN login. This I believe proves that no masking technology was used to gain any unfair advantage during actual gameplay.
• What games did you play while your location was changed via VPN?
As far as I remember, I did not play any games while the VPN was enabled. As you can see from my "Lucky Spins" history, my top wins (₱47,177 and ₱21,732) were already achieved during my normal gaming sessions. Also I have attached screenshot of the vpn usage that transpired last April 21, 2026 that shows a total of only 9 minutes of usage.
• Did you activate any bonuses while the VPN was enabled?
I did not activate or use any bonuses while the VPN was enabled. I also have NO available bonuses to use. My balance consists of pure winnings from my previous unsuccessful withdrawal that took Ice Casino almost two weeks to process but still did not go through and money has just returned to my casino account and from there, I played again and got very lucky and won fairly.
Please tell / instruct me how to attach a PDF file here for there you can check the gameplay history in full. It is like 7.7mb in size.
I hope above answers will suffice and do please let me know if you need anything regarding this dsiupute and I will provide it.
I have been loyal and a member (kyc verified) of Ice Casino since 2023 on which when I started playing on a online casino.
Also, upon talking to their customer support, two times they offered me 2000php and unblocking of my account provided that all balance will be cleared. I replied that I will not accept.
Thank you very much again Veronika and more power to Casino Guru.
I would like to respond to the casino's statement regarding the VPN usage.
I admit that the VPN was active, but I must emphasize that it was an honest oversight.
I am a resident of the Philippines, which is a permitted jurisdiction for Ice Casino. I did not use the VPN to bypass any country restrictions, play restricted games, or abuse any bonuses. My gaming activity remained consistent with my actual location.
I was the one who proactively contacted the casino to correct my payout details, which proves my intention was to be transparent and honest. Using a VPN by mistake should not be a ground for total confiscation of funds when there was no intent to defraud the casino or gain an unfair advantage.
I am asking for a fair resolution—like to allow me to verify my identity again and location (KYC) to prove I am playing from a permitted region.
I hope Casino Guru can mediate this based on fairness and not just a strict technicality.
Thank you for getting in touch with us and for assisting the player. We believe that the use of a VPN should not automatically result in the confiscation of a player’s funds, particularly if no unfair advantage was gained (for example, by accessing the website from a restricted country or using restricted games or bonuses). Furthermore, if this was an honest mistake, confiscating the entire balance may be considered disproportionate.
We kindly ask you to reconsider your position and allow the player to withdraw their full winnings.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
Dear aaron42026
Please forward me the game history in PDF format that you mentioned to veronika.f@casino.guru.
We've double-checked the player's activity, the player was accessing the site from a restricted territory - Japan, played games (made around 430 rounds), took bonuses.
We still believe, the casino acted according to their T&Cs, that were accepted by the player.
Thank you for the update and I hope that you received my email and please allow me to explain my side.
I would like to address the casino’s recent claims regarding gameplay and bonus usage during the VPN session.
Based on my device records, the VPN connection lasted only approximately 9 minutes on April 21, with very limited activity during that time.
I kindly request that they provide specific details and timestamps of any bonus activation or usage if it will be tally to the gameplay history file (7.7mb) that I have downloaded.
The casino claims I violated rules by using a Japan-based IP. However, looking at their own Terms & Conditions Section 4.4, Japan is NOT listed as a restricted jurisdiction. Since Japan is a permitted territory, accessing the site from a Japanese IP—whether accidentally via VPN or otherwise—does not constitute a violation of their geographic restrictions. Therefore, there is no legal basis to confiscate my winnings or block my account.
Screenshot taken moments ago.
I remain fully cooperative and open to a fair and reasonable resolution based on an accurate and complete review of the timeline.
I would like to ask Veronika for her guidance on this, as the casino is essentially penalizing me based on a rule that they have just admitted does not exist in their current Terms and Conditions.
Please kindly note that the key rule breached in this case was the use of a VPN. Regardless of whether any direct advantage was gained, the applicable Terms and Conditions clearly state:
"12.7. Masking IP or location is not allowed and we reserve the right to close any accounts and void any bets, bonus and winnings if the account was created or used through the use of IP or geolocation masking technologies including but not limited to VPN and Proxy Servers."
This is the original provision accepted during registration, and management is required to enforce these terms consistently and in accordance with the established compliance framework.
Thank you for your cooperation and for providing all the necessary information. I truly appreciate the time and effort you’ve taken to share everything with us so far.
Your complaint will now move to the next stage of our process and be handled by your dedicated Resolver, Michal (michal.v@casino.guru). This is a standard step in our procedure, as the Resolver will take over communication with the casino directly and manage your case from this point onward.
No action is required from you right now. Your Resolver will reach out through this thread if any additional details are needed. You can rest assured that your case is in very capable hands.
I wish you the best of luck and hope your case will be resolved to your satisfaction soon.
Thank you for the update and for overseeing the initial phase of my complaint. I appreciate the transition of my case to Michal, and I look forward to his assistance in resolving this matter with IceCasino.
I have noted that no further action is required from my side at this moment. I will remain available should Michal require any additional documentation or clarification regarding the confiscation of my winnings.
My name is Michal, and I will be assisting you with your case. I hope that together we will come to a successful resolution of your issue.
Dear IceCasino,
Could you confirm for me that the player did not play any rounds or take any bonuses while the VPN was active? Was there any activity on their account with the active VPN?
I would like to point out that Ice Casino’s earlier statement already alleged that I supposedly made around 430 rounds and used bonuses while connected through VPN from Japan.

Unquote:
The ProtonVPN logs indicate that the VPN tunnel was active for only approximately 1 minute and 7 seconds, from 10:40:59 PM to 10:42:06 PM Manila Time.
Also, according to my game history, my last recorded spin before the VPN incident was:
21/04/2026 – 21:42:16 – SUGAR MERGE UP / BGAMING
The next recorded gameplay activity on my account was only at:
21/04/2026 – 23:34:01 – AZTEC CLUSTERS / BGAMING
This means there is no recorded gameplay activity during the timeframe in which the VPN connection allegedly occurred.
This is why I believe that in respect to transparency and fairness, I kindly request the casino to provide the exact evidence supporting their allegations.
The player breached the followings T&Cs, that were accepted at registration:
"12.7. Masking IP or location is not allowed and we reserve the right to close any accounts and void any bets, bonus and winnings if the account was created or used through the use of IP or geolocation masking technologies including but not limited to VPN and Proxy Servers."
Good day. I would just like to respectfully follow up regarding my case, especially since IceCasino has already provided another public reply in the thread.
I completely understand if you have been busy, however I would truly appreciate your insight regarding the casino’s latest response, as they once again repeated Clause 12.7 but did not directly address the specific points and questions previously raised.
I hope you are doing well. I would just like to respectfully follow up once again regarding my case.
I understand you may currently be handling multiple complaints, however I remain hopeful for your assessment regarding the casino’s latest response, particularly since the main points previously raised still appear unanswered.
I also noticed that in several previous VPN-related cases involving IceCasino, resolutions were reached after a closer review of the specific circumstances involved. Because of this, I sincerely hope my case may also be evaluated beyond the mere existence of Clause 12.7 alone.
Thank you very much again for your continued time and assistance.
I would like to inform you that our resolvers are currently addressing a considerable volume of ongoing complaints. We are committed to providing timely responses, and I kindly ask for your understanding regarding the 7-day response timeframe for all parties involved. Sending multiple messages in the thread will not expedite the process and could potentially complicate matters further. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and I assure you that I will do my utmost to assist you. Thank you for your patience and respect in this matter.
Dear IceCasino,
I understand your concerns regarding the enforcement of the terms and conditions in question. It is my belief that such measures should only be applied in instances where a player utilizes a VPN for fraudulent purposes, such as obtaining an unfair advantage or accessing content that is otherwise unavailable. In this context, it appears that this clause may be being used as a justification to withhold winnings from the player. I kindly request that you reconsider your stance on this matter, as players should not be penalized for unintentional, one-time mistakes that did not confer any advantages.
Thank you for your response and for your fair assessment of the situation.
I appreciate your continued assistance and hope the casino can still reconsider this matter in the interest of fairness and proportionality, especially considering similar VPN-related cases where players were eventually allowed to keep their winnings.
