The player from Australia reported that approximately 4,000 XRP (~$9,000 USD) went missing from his WSM Casino account due to an unexplained "Balance Deduction" action. After a successful winning session on the game "Unholy Mystery," he attempted to withdraw his winnings but instead faced a deduction with no prior notice or explanation from the casino, and he had received no communication from support for over three months. The player had breached the casino's maximum bet rule during bonus play, which led to the confiscation of his balance as per the casino's terms and conditions. Despite inconsistencies in the casino's communication and the player's concerns about the timing and handling of the deduction, the confiscation of the balance was considered justified and aligned with industry standards. The complaint was rejected, with a recommendation for the player to carefully review bonus terms in future play.
Approximately 4,000 XRP (~$9,000 USD) Missing — Unexplained Balance Deduction, No Response for 3+ MonthsComplaint. In November 2025, approximately 4,000 XRP (~$9,000 USD) went missing from my WSM Casino account. The only transaction record I can find is a "Balance Deduction" of 407.648665 XRP — which does not account for the full missing amount. This was not a standard withdrawal — the label "Balance Deduction" indicates an administrative action by WSM Casino, not something I initiated. What Happened was i playing the slot game "Unholy Mystery" on WSM Casino and had a significant winning session. The platform accepted all my bets through its standard game interface, processed the spins, and credited the winnings to my account without any error message, warning, or restriction.I had active bonuses on my account at the time, including the "Unholy Mystery" free spins promotion and other bonuses with remaining wagering requirements outstanding. After my winning session, I attempted to make a withdrawal. Rather than processing or declining the withdrawal with an explanation, WSM Casino instead applied a manual "Balance Deduction" to my account. My balance of approximately 4,000 XRP was effectively wiped, yet the only recorded deduction shows 407.648665 XRP — the remaining missing funds are unaccounted for with no transaction record. The Core Issues1. WSM Casino has never explained the deduction or the missing funds.Approximately 4,000 XRP went missing from my account. The only recorded transaction is a "Balance Deduction" of 407.648665 XRP, which does not account for the full amount. WSM Casino has provided no explanation whatsoever for either the recorded deduction or the remaining missing funds.2. WSM Casino's software accepted all my bets without restriction.Every bet I placed was accepted through the platform's standard game interface. If any issue existed with my play, the platform should have flagged or restricted it in real time — not accepted bets, credited winnings, and then silently removed funds after I tried to withdraw.3. No notice, no explanation, no due process.WSM Casino did not notify me of any issue, did not explain the deduction, and did not give me an opportunity to respond. When I attempted to withdraw my winnings, rather than simply declining the withdrawal and explaining any concern, WSM chose to manually strip funds from my account and then ignored all my subsequent communications.4. WSM Casino has never responded.I emailed support@wsmcasino.com on the same day I discovered the deduction, stating clearly: "I did not request a withdrawal of 400 XRP. I should have a balance of 9000 USD. What is going on? Please respond ASAP." I sent multiple emails. As of today (25 February 2026), I have received zero response — over three months of silence.5. Active wagering requirements should have prevented any balance removal. At the time of the deduction, I had active bonus wagering requirements outstanding. Under standard casino bonus terms, funds subject to wagering requirements cannot be withdrawn until requirements are met. WSM Casino processed this deduction while these requirements were still active, which contradicts standard industry practice and likely their own T&Cs.6. The deduction type is irregular. The transaction is categorized as "Balance Deduction" — not "Withdrawal," "Bonus Forfeiture," or "Terms Violation Adjustment." This ambiguous labelling provides no transparency about what occurred or why.Evidence I HoldScreenshots of emails to support@wsmcasino.com (November 2025) reporting the missing fundsScreenshot of the "Balance Deduction" transaction (407.648665 XRP — does not account for full missing amount)Screenshots of winning session on Unholy Mystery with full bet IDsScreenshots of active bonus wagering requirements at the timeFull transaction history showing the deduction was applied after a withdrawal attemptTransaction history showing pattern of declined withdrawals on other occasionsScreenshots showing account balance before and afterWhat I Am RequestingA full written explanation of the "Balance Deduction" and the missing ~4,000 XRP, including who authorized it, on what contractual basis, why it was applied instead of simply declining my withdrawal request, and why no notification was providedA full accounting of where the missing funds went — the recorded deduction of 407 XRP does not explain the full lossReversal of the deduction and restoration of my account balanceA complete transaction audit trail for my accountAdditional ContextWSM Casino is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board. From what I gather, the casino provided you with an explanation that your winnings from a bonus were confiscated due to a breach of the maximum bet amount.
The max bet rule is, in fact, an industry standard, just as the fact that a casino has the right to seize the player's winnings from bonus play after breaking this rule. We prefer not to go against industry standards by penalizing casinos that use the maximum bet rule against players from time to time.
However, if you feel like you have been accused mistakenly, feel free to forward me your game history together with a link to the specific bonus that you redeemed and played. Make sure to request your game history from the time your bonus was in play in Excel format.
Thanks Tomas, I appreciate you explaining the position on maximum bet rules. I'm not disputing that the rule exists — I understand it's an industry standard. My concern is with how WSM applied it
If I exceeded a max bet limit during bonus play, WSM had the ability to identify that and act on it. Instead, I was told at the time I needed to continue wagering to complete the requirements I did so to the point from 12k to $9,498.29 but their system froze on wagering requirement. Then they seized my entire balance of 407.648665 XRP as a "Balance Deduction" on 13 November 2025
My deposit was 39.575 XRP. They didn't just void a bonus — they took everything, deposit and winnings, after the fact.
I think you'd agree that a casino acting in good faith would intervene at the time of the breach, not after the player has finished and won.
That distinction is really the heart of this complaint .I can provide my game history in Excel format, and I'm happy to send that to your email along with blockchain verification of my deposit via xrpscan.com and my exchange statements.
I'd also ask that WSM provide the specific bonus terms including the stated maximum bet limit, and identify which bets they claim breached the rule with timestamps — since the burden of proving a violation should sit with the party making the claim. Thanks again for your time on this.
They have not yet provided my email correspondence or other data i have requested. Only betslips and transactions.
Hi Tomas, Just checking in on this complaint. I notice WSM Casino still hasn't responded.I also wanted to note that I replied to your questions via private email but haven't received any acknowledgement. I want to make sure my responses reached you, as I wouldn't want the case to stall due to a delivery issue on my end. I'm fully available and happy to resend my answers or provide any additional information needed.
Hi Tomas, I wanted to flag that I've submitted two replies (this is the third) on the complaint thread but both are still showing "Waiting for approval" — I'm concerned they may not be visible to you before the response timer expires.
As requested, I've attached:- the relevant betslip(~4000XRP), transactions and bonus screenshot.
Also screenshot of balance deduction(~400XRP) which says PAID, it was not paid and my entire balance was taken(including deposit)
Regarding the specific bonus link and terms you asked for — I do not have these. I formally requested my data from WSM and their response included only betslips and transaction history. They selectively omitted bonus terms and conditions, email correspondence, and other records. This is a notable gap given that WSM is the party alleging a bonus terms breach — the burden of producing the relevant terms and identifying the specific violations sits with them, not with me.
I'm fully available and monitoring this complaint closely. Please let me know if there's anything further you need — I'll respond promptly.
It's my assumption that the check for maximum bet breach takes place only after a payout is requested. If the max bet is not enforced by software, which is preferable, the expectation is that the breach is not checked in real time during gameplay.
'Waiting for approval' means the entire message is not visible to the public and is waiting for me to check the message for any sensitive information. Thanks for your understanding.
Regarding the casino's involvement in the complaint, the casino can freely join the conversation even before we officially ask them. We haven't asked the casino to participate in this particular case thus far.
You can learn more about our complaint process here:
Please note that we can only ask the casino for a refund of the deposit if we can conclude that you are eligible for it. When it comes to playing with bonuses, be on the lookout for the following rule found commonly found in online casinos: https://www.wsmcasino.com/bonus-terms
Once a player has qualified for the Bonus, their funds will be used in the following order:
Cash
Bonus Funds
Kindly share your game history with me so I can review it. My email is tomas@casino.guru

Hi Tomas,
Thank you for the clarification on the complaint process and the max bet enforcement timing.I have sent my game history to your email as requested (file: 10510200902_bets.xlsx, covering all activity from 19 July 2025 to 16 January 2026).
I am also attaching screenshots of the live chat transcripts with WSM Casino support agents. These transcripts are critical to this complaint.Regarding the bonus terms and the "cash first" rule you flagged — the game history confirms this is exactly what happened. My cash deposit of 39.575 XRP was consumed first.
The system automatically transitioned to bonus funds mid-bet on 12 November 2025 at 16:46 UTC. The Bonus Amount columns in the data clearly show which bets used bonus funds versus cash.On 13 November 2025, my entire balance of 407.648665 XRP (approximately $9,000 USD) was removed from my account.
Here is what happened when I contacted support:WSM's own agents gave contradictory positions across multiple chat sessions:
1. Agent Val confirmed the balance was removed for exceeding the $5 max bet limit during bonus play. Val then stated the team would recredit the bonus "as an exception." This is an acknowledgment that the situation warranted a remedy.
2. Agent Lisa confirmed the same max bet finding and that winnings were voided. Lisa then stated: as a "goodwill gesture," the team had rerecorded the bonus for me to "try your luck again." The recredited amount was approximately €87–89 — a fraction of the ~$9,000 that was taken. Lisa also referenced "a withdrawal of 400 XRP" having been made. I did not authorise or make any withdrawal.
The 400 XRP figure closely matches the 407.648665 XRP balance that was deducted.
3. Agent Ivy, in a separate session, told me the bonus was still active with a remaining wagering amount of XRP 126.133360. This directly contradicts the position that the bonus and its winnings had been voided.
4. Agent Rally confirmed my withdrawal attempt of 1218.48 was declined, advised me to check my wallet address, and then closed the chat.
5. I raised that I had not received any email communication from WSM regarding the balance removal. The agent acknowledged that no email responses had been sent.To summarise the contradictions: WSM voided my winnings for a max bet breach, but then recredited a small bonus as "goodwill" (acknowledging they owed me something).
They referenced an unauthorised withdrawal I never made. And a separate agent told me the bonus was still active with wagering requirements remaining — which is inconsistent with it having been voided.
On the max bet enforcement point: as you confirmed, the max bet is not enforced in real time during gameplay. The game history shows WSM processed 340 bonus-funded bets on Unholy Mystery without any restriction, warning, or enforcement. Every bet was accepted. The operator's system is capable of enforcing a bet limit but chose not to, then applied it retroactively after the balance had grown. If the software deliberately does not enforce its own rules during play, the responsibility for that sits with the operator, not the player.I would also like to flag that on 24 February 2026, two bonuses appeared on my account (Gates of Olympus free spins and a free bet reactivation) that I did not activate or request. Combined with the unauthorised "withdrawal" of 400 XRP referenced by Agent Lisa, this raises serious concerns about actions being taken on my account without my knowledge or consent.I am happy to provide any additional information you need.
Where I previously wrote "On 13 November 2025, my entire balance of 407.648665 XRP (approximately $9,000 USD) was removed from my account.(~$9,000 USD)"
I was confusing the remaining balance with the deduction amount. The $9,000 figure refers to the value of my balance built through gameplay. The 407.648665 XRP deduction does not account for that full balance. There is no other transaction — no withdrawal, no second deduction, no bonus forfeiture entry — explaining where the rest went. What I'm asking WSM to explain: Where did the balance go? The transaction history shows a single deduction of ~$955 against a balance worth ~$9,000. That gap is unaccounted for.
Based on the game history, it's apparent that you breached the maximum bet rule on several occasions in volume that makes it impossible for us to argue the breach was accidental.
If you break this rule in online casinos, the consequences can range from annulation of the affected bets to balance confiscation, and sometimes account closure. Considering these circumstances, we consider the decision of the casino to confiscate the balance as justifiable and in accordance with its terms and conditions. The offer to reissue the bonus can be considered a goodwill gesture.
Due to the aforementioned reasons, we will now proceed to reject this complaint. We recommend you pay extra attention to the bonus terms and conditions if you decide to play with bonuses in the future to avoid similar issues. Thank you for your understanding. I am genuinely sorry that we were not able to assist you more effectively in this particular situation, as we always aim to help players resolve their issues whenever possible.
Please remember that you are welcome to contact us again if you run into any problems with this or any other casino in the future. Whether it is a question, a concern, or a new issue that needs to be looked into, our team is here and ready to support you.
